Eligibility Requirements

A. Fourth Stage – Bardo Retreat

Participants must have successfully completed the Third Stage – Tögal Retreat of the Dzogchen Kunzang Gongdu under the guidance of H.H. Gangteng Rinpoche.

B. Second Stage – Trekchö Retreat

Participants must have successfully completed the First Stage – Khorde Rushan -Distinguishing Samsara from Nirvana Retreat of the Dzogchen Kunzang Gongdu under the guidance of H.H. Gangteng Rinpoche.

The Precious Dzogchen Teachings

Dzogchen, the Great Perfection, stands at the pinnacle of the Nine Yanas. It represents the ultimate enlightened intent of all Buddhas and the final culmination of the path to enlightenment. All Buddhas of the past, present, and future attain unsurpassed Buddhahood through the path of the Great Perfection.

The Dzogchen teachings are divided into three categories: the Outer Mind Series (Semde), the Inner Space Series (Longde), and the Secret Pith Instruction Series (Menngagde). Among these, the Pith Instruction Series is regarded as the swiftest path to realization.

The Pith Instruction Series is further divided into four categories: Outer, Inner, Secret, and Innermost Unsurpassed Secret. Only the Innermost Unsurpassed Secret category presents the complete and ultimate teachings in their entirety.

The Kunzang Gongdu (The Union of Samantabhadra's Enlightened Intent) belongs to this supreme category. It is a profound teaching through which the great masters Longchenpa and the treasure revealer Pema Lingpa attained ultimate realization.

As practitioners living in this degenerate age of the five impurities, we are extraordinarily fortunate to encounter such precious teachings and a fully qualified master who upholds an authentic and unbroken lineage and compassionately offers these profound instructions.

We should therefore cherish this rare opportunity and devote ourselves diligently to genuine practice, so that our precious human lives, endowed with freedoms and advantages, may not be wasted.

We sincerely encourage all lineage disciples who have completed the Five Preliminary Practices (Ngöndro) and the prerequisite First or Third Stage Retreats to seize this precious opportunity and register.

Retreat Registration Procedure

Step 1. Submit the Initial Registration Form

Click the "I Wish to Participate" button at the bottom of the registration page and complete the initial registration form.

Step 2. Member Login or Registration

Step 3. Await Eligibility Review or Interview Notification

After submitting the initial registration form, please wait for an email from Yeshe Khorlo Taiwan regarding your eligibility review or interview arrangements.

First-time participants in retreats organized by Yeshe Khorlo Taiwan will receive an email regarding the Five Preliminary Practices (Ngöndro) interview.
Returning participants who have previously attended retreats organized by Yeshe Khorlo Taiwan will receive an email with their eligibility review results.

Step 4. Receive the Official Registration Link

Applicants who pass the interview or eligibility review will receive an email containing the Official Registration Form.

Step 5. Complete Registration and Payment

Complete the official registration form and submit the required payment to finalize your retreat registration.

Important Registration Notes

1. Accurate Information and Proof of Previous Retreat Completion

Applicants must accurately provide the year and location of all relevant retreats previously attended. This information is essential for verifying eligibility.

Important: If you completed the First or Third Stage Retreat under an organizer other than Yeshe Khorlo Taiwan, you must proactively submit supporting documents after submitting your initial registration form.

Acceptable supporting documents include:

Previous retreat registration or check-in confirmation
Accommodation records from the retreat
Retreat identification badges
Photographs documenting retreat completion
Other relevant evidence of successful retreat completion
